I am a writer and lifelong tv/movie lover from the beautiful twin island nation of Trinidad and Tobago, which is found in the Caribbean. I inject humour into my posts so occasionally you may stumble upon a joke or two. And they may even be funny.
I love ranking movies, especially comics and sci fi, and I do a lot of stuff on British sci fi show Doctor Who. I am also a huge supporter of Cariwood (Caribbean film) you will also find reviews of films from our beautiful region. The name of this site is inspired by the red mango which is a Trinidadian preservative snack that can be sweet or spicy, just like these reviews and just like me. Oh yeah!

My earliest memory of seeing a horror movie was John Carpenter’s The Thing. I remember my cousins and friends
freaking out, my parents rushing in to switch of the televsion, while trying not to have dual heart attacks and eight-year-old me, mesmerized at what I thought was the coolest thing I’d ever seen.
I fell in love with the horror movie genre and never looked back, but movies in general are my thing. I can talk about them, good, bad and really bad all day long and never get bored.
I think no Popcorn at the movies is sacrilege, black cats are magic and sushi is the perfect food.
