Right, let’s get to it. With his recent arrests for disorderly conduct and harassment and second degree assault in two separate incidents current DCEU Flash actor Ezra Miller is playin’ d fool. So here are my Top 5 Choices (in no particular order) to replace the asshat after The Flash drops in June 2023.
#1 Grant Gustin (Small Screen to Big Screen Jump?)

Wishful thinking I know, but if you’re hiring someone for a job, isn’t it always best to go with the guy who has prior experience?
#2 Asa Butterfield (Recasting Game)

He might be young but Asa Butterfield has a filmography that rivals some actors twice his age. From drama, to comedy to science fiction and fantasy, Asa has tackled them all, plus have you seen him with blonde hair? Because he totally screams Barry Allen to me!
#3 Logan Lerman (From Percy to Barry)

You can totally see it can’t you? This young actor went from boy to man before you could bat an eye. With his breakout role as Percy Jackson in the two YA fantasy films, he proved he could handle heavier material with the likes of Fury and 3:10 to Yuma.
This choice was a bit of a tie for me, as I also believe Dylan O’Brien a solid choice, but I think Lerman has just a touch more of the boyishness and eternal optimism in his features needed to make a character like The Flash truly shine.
#4 Nat Wolff (Flash Note)

His work may not be as mainstream as some of the others on this list (Paper Towns, The Fault in our Stars, Admission, Death Note), but this young man has talent to spare. He’s even played Thor before. Well, not the MCU version, but the Norse god one in the film Mortals, which in my book still counts.
#5 Finn Wolfhard (Super Things)

So you want to replace Ezra but you don’t want anyone to notice? How ’bout the guy that kinda looks like him. All joking aside, Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard has proven he can handle a wide range of genres so jumping into a red unitard and cracking wise should be a breeze for the young actor.
So that’s my list? Do you agree with any of these choices? Or do you think WB should stick with Miller? Sound off in the comments. And you can check out more super content below:
