Dust’s Sci Fi Short ‘Kinetic’ Quick Bite Review

Julien Neaves, Sci Fi Head Writer

One of the best things about YouTube has to be the channel Dust, Gunpowder and Sky’s Sci-Fi entertainment brand. Working with established and emerging creators they do feature films, series and podcasts, but I know them best from their short films on the ‘Tube.

And despite being free these films boast solid performances and excellent production values. I’ve watched a number of their shorts and I have always been entertained.

The latest short is Kinetic about a teenage girl in rural America with psychokinetic abilities. The short is just five minutes so if I say any more about the plot I would be going in to spoiler territory. Suffice to say it is another great bite-size Sci Fi film with impressive imagery and special effects.

So if you’re a Sci Fi fan you need to get plugged in to Dust. You can check out Kinetic at this link here and show these very creative folks some love by liking and subscribing.

I love promoting Caribbean film (Cariwood), creating board games and I am an aspiring author. I say things like “12 flavours of awesome sauce”.
